my family has 12 rc's. we run 2 jr xs3 and 1 jr xs3pro radios and the rs300 and 310 rx's. 3 electric onroad, 3 nitro onroad, 4 electric offroad and 2 nitro offroad.

all of the rx's and tx's work flawlessly in all of the cars except for our 1/8 nitro offroad. i have tried swapping the rx's around, new rx and tx batteries, ive tried both digital and standard servos, and with and without failsafes.

the problem we are having is when you stand next to the mugen mbx5 and mbx5t the radios work fine but once you start to try and drive the car and it gets 15-20 feet away from you the failsafe activates and stops the car. once you walk up to the car it starts working fine again.

what is frustrating me is that when this happens i can pull the rx, rx battery and failsafe out of the mugens and put it all in my x-ray nt1 or my sons trinity reflex and they work fine. both mugens are using the stock radio trays in the stock loctions. carbon fiber isnt the issue, the only cf is the stock prospec pieces and there is less in the mugens than in our other cars.

any ideas, thoughts or suggestions?????????????????????
