Hi.
I'll make this claim that every engine - no matter prize and brand - will last MANY GALLONS of fuel, if you just threat them right:
· Have A LOT of paintense when you break them in. Keep the HSN just 1/10 lean from 4-stroke.
· Be gentle on the throttle for a few minutes after you have started a well broken in engine, until it comes up in temperature.
· ALWAYS keep (specially) the HSN on the rich side. Start your days racing by turning the HSN 1/8 turn out. After some warm-up laps, lean the HSN 1/10 of a turn, until the engine just runs smooth on the straight.
· After a days racing, run the tank empty of fuel. Remove the tube from the carburator, and try start the engine, until you can't hear any ignition. Drop some after run oil through the carburator and turn the engine on the (pull)-starter.
· Remember to check the airfilter, and ALWAYS use filter oil on the foam
Life is simple.
Cheers
