i have ran both and buggy is WAY cheaper to keep up and everything.
i am now going back to truggy simply because i race them better. but im getting another buggy in a month or two. truggy are easier to drive, not much traction rolls and they are more stable. buggy is fun and is the class to be in, the buggy class is always the bigger class at every race i have been too. i would just get what you prefer more and never look back. just stick to 1/8th scale.
