sounds like you have the motor wires round the wrong way reverse on most esc has reduced power , so looks like your forward setting is acctualy reverse and your reverse is forward , swap the motor wires from where they are now and give that a try also this can be alterd on your transmitter via a channel reversing switch most transmitters have this but this sounds like the problem hope this helps
