Either you didn't do exactly what the directions said or you had changed something that overrides reversing the channel at that point. Go back thru the Preparations starting on page 25 and make sure you haven't changed one of the Throttle settings like the ATL. Reread and check everything carefully - you've been looking at this long enough, you may not be 'seeing' the settings.

If you follow the prep and then the setup on pg27, you should have a working setup.

If not, then do a model re-set (clears everything you've done in that model) or move to a new model number and then start over. This seems complicated, but its a matter of following the directions at each step. Its really not that hard. I have a 3PK and a 3PJS and this is a lot like my 3PJS.

If you have questions at any step, get them answered as you go. Patience, when you realize what you're doing or not doing, you're going to have a really nice radio!
