In my opinion there is nothing wrong with the John Grant International Raceway at Helles Park.
It might help if you guys would give us an example, of this attitude that sucks.
I have been racing there for 7 years and find it enjoyable. Sure there has been some dickheads there over time, but you get that at any RC track, nitro or electric.
The guys that are currently running the track and anyone that I know that races there try to make people that come along to feel welcome.
Bad mouthing this track and the people that race there, is of no benefit to our hobby or anyone for that matter.
I am not having a go at anyone, though if you want to give any strength to what you are claiming, maybe you could provide some details. Not something that happened 3 or 4 years ago either, something a little more recent would be good.
The track may not be ideally suited to electric racing, though after all, it was originally designed with nitro racing in mind and 1/8th scale at that.
If you have not been out to Moorebank recently, maybe your attitude will change if you give it a try.
It does seem that no matter how the club is run at Moorebank, the people who don’t bother to come and give it a go can’t help but be critical and label the club and its members.
It would be good to see more people give racing at Moorebank a try.
