the ice and the checkpoint charger are essentially the same in that the only charge certain battery types ...the are not rated for gell cell and lead acid batteries ....the shumacher charger you have ...by looking at the specs ...could possibly charge it ....the only issue i see is the schumacher will only charge at 2 amps at the lowest rate ....it wouldnt really hurt a gell cell or lead acid battery to charge it at 2 amps ...most of them for rc are 7 amp/hour batteries ,,,which means they are 7000mah ...and generally should be charged a .7 amps or 700mah ....if you did charge it with the schumacher at 2amps for small batteries ..i would wanna keep an eye on it on not leave it on there to long ...maybe 3 hours they check it ...your best alternative and cheapist would be this

gell cell wall charger

you can leave it on this one over night for 12-24 hours and it will be ready to go
