my trucks are really nothing to brag about
disabled and not working so i scavenge alot
this site does not let me post pics yet
i'll basically just describe
here's what i have
lol
1st one is the volvo which i gave to my better half
all stck except for alloy tamiya wheels
no sound in it(yet)
2nd, a ford aeromax...all stock,painted cherry red
3rd, got a totally wrecked aeromax
this truck was a mess
cab beyond salvage, frame was bent and twisted bad
i was given this truck for parts
i just couldn't strip it and scrap it
i found a king hauler cab cheap
cut the nose off and made into a KW K-925
guess you could say it got a nose job(plastic surgery)
lol
shortened the sleeper
made a new front bumper from 1/4 inch(6mm) thick aluminum
added the tamiya animal guard to that
roof got a tamiya spoiler, added an aluminum headache rack
in place of plastic fender guards ahead of the rear wheels, i modified a set of aluminum quarter fenders then used my own mudflaps in back
painted it red and white and made decals for watkins motor freight
while i was at it, i did a matching watkins van trailer for it
this truck was rebuilt from someone elses junk to become the prize of my trucks
i have more in progress like a globeliner which will become a KW K-100 aero,
another globe to be an international with set back front axle,
a kinghauler to become a 1957 KW needle nose and another globe liner to become a fire truck
lol
