Just got the throttle and brakes dialed in or at least pretty close. Thanks for the kind words, and thanks to everyone who helped me out in this thread. I purchased the race roller but it was basically like building a whole new kit.I had to swap all the screws hings pins turnbuckles diff out drives and everything. I will look around ebay for parts or just buy a back up/parts car. The online support and setup tips are beyond helpful. This kind of stuff was not available when I got out of RC years ago.
