Well It depends on you clutch set up/gearing. On my RC8 w/JPX I use 17t bell 1-.09 spring and 2-1.0's dynamite max life shoes and a 2035 pipe very smooth and on my RC8TCE I use the werks B5 stock bell werks 2013 pipe and 3-1.0 springs stock AE shoes and it is also very smooth. Remember speed is in your gearing. You cant go wrong with either, I know when they are done I will be getting the same motors they are dependable great fuel milage and you can buy two for the price of a OS speed and last alot longer and just as fast. As far as which one is faster I really don't know because you would have to test both engines in the same equipment or Dyno'ed which I have never done, My cars are only for the track so I set them up for track conditions. hope this helps.
