No, I've seen ppl using self-adhesive velcro too.

Just works like any fabric tape I guess. Still wears thru after a while.





Next thing I've been told to try is Skateboard protect sheets. (I suspect its the same 3M stuff sold at bike shops.)

Haven't got the guts to enter local skaterz shop yet...!!
