What will this mean on the track though, bearing in mind that 95% of its use will be at Windsor with grip ?
I realise with this one, that i'll be pretty much alone as far as setting it up goes.
But I'd think the Losi set ups may translate across ....
They also have an Aussie distributor and use some borrowed parts, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Obviously I'd need spares of my own for race night.
It certainly fits my "different" status.
Oh, what is the actual benefit of chassis mounted lower A arm mounts ?

Michael.
The different length arms will simply give the chassis a different base behaviour. You can always tune from there to get what you need. The one problem when you move away from a high end chassis is you get bulky parts that reduce the chassis maximum performance. I have not seen the tirger moth so I do not know what it is really like...
As for mounting lower arms stay away from designs that do not mount onto the lower deck. While this does not really seem to limit the maximum potential of the chassis you do notice at the track that cars with this design can be very hot and cold. The drivers often have to put a lot more work into setup or simply the car requires a high calibeir driver to be at the front. Keep in mind that while any chassis can win with a good driver, what you want is a chassis that works for a average driver so you can focus on driving rather than stressing over setup all day.
