I have it in a team academy sbv2 4wd. with the undertray and the tight fitting body, there is not a lot of airflow. I woud rather have it and not need it than not have it and thermal my esc. I also am going to run it with a heatsink on the motor. my temps have been 150-160 on the motor w/ no heatsink after 5-6 minutes of high speed passes in a parking lot and 145 on the esc. according to castle those temps are safe but if i can reduce it a little i can bump up one tooth on the pinion and pick up a little more umphf.

i might see if I can use some mechanics wire or fishing wire leader material to get one on there. i'd rather be safe than sorry.
