I recently picked up a nice used LRP Sphere TC Spec esc and today was the first time I got to try it.We had an open practice day at the track,so I ran pretty much non-stop.My whole setup is FT B4,SMC 5200 40C(2S),LRP TC Spec,7.5 Vector x-12.
My question is about the lipo-cutoff feature,I think.

Both times I ran,I went for 20 minutes or more non-stop.At the end of my runs the motor seemed to just seize up halfway down the front straight. It may or may not have slowed down a couple seconds before this happened.Hard to tell because I never used more than 1/2 throttle on the straight.Anyway, the rear wheels locked up and the car skidded to a stop right in the middle of the straight.I had steering, but the car would not move.By the time I got down from the stand and picked my car up off of the track, the throttle worked again.

I checked my pack when I got back to the pits and the cells were at around 3.3v each.
I'm guessing that the lipo-cutoff kicked on.But is the motor supposed to lock up like that? I'm used to the power being cut back, but never saw anything like this.Even coasting with no power at all would be better than this.Hard to steer your car off the track when back wheels won't move.
Any ideas?
