New EZRun 60A ESCs go for $50, pretty cheap. If I had extra cash around right now, I wouldn't mind picking up another one just to see if it would handle 5s. I know it handles 4s already, even with the stock caps. But if you plan to put it in a 1/8 buggy, I would add larger caps as the current surge will be bigger than in any 1/10. The 80A will handle 5s with stock caps also and you still have a bit of headroom with the caps. But the 80A is virtually the same size as an MMM. The 60A is super tiny...it makes the Sidewinder look big...ha.
