Yes, SoCal is too small; one night, an attempt at a 6-cell 19t class turned into a rolling demolision derby so nothing faster would be feasible.
Tamiya Track is out unless you bring lots of $$$ (i.e. like the Reedy Race) because they'd hate to have all those inexpensive non-Tamiya cars out there ripping off ballistic lap times.
