cherry:
start with the boost and punch very low for 10.5, and keep a close eye on temps as you carefully bump up the boost to your liking. 10.5 is right on the line between "boost will only make it run hotter" and "there might be some benefits in isolated cases".
As to different update times - I would suspect it has more to do with what else your computer is doing at that particular time? I've never noticed a big difference between individual units, but do regularly notice that updating is sometimes lickety split, and sometimes longer than my patience can hold up for

Over the last few days I've updated a whole lot of test units (nothing much else to do in the rain) spanning from the original 2.0 prototype to a brand new 2.1 and haven't seen that.
geubes:
yes, that's "normal" right now. Not sure if it was an oversight in software, or intended to be so. I'd like to see more than 6 choices for such an important setting, so I'll go over it with engineering on Mon.
Time/RPM delay:
At the moment, I believe the two are linked to where both parameters must be met for the Supercharger to engage. I'll confirm that later today - it's finally stopped raining here so it's off the bench and onto the track today.
