One of the reasons 1/10th disappeared was due to the speeds, the cars were beginning to airfoil on the straights if they hit a small pebble or bump. They were going over 45mph and a car flying towards the crowd gets crazy. That is one reason as to why 4 cell may be a great alternative. I would race that class and 1/12th while dropping touring all together.
Hey, I was reading your post and it reminded me of something. I figure if there is a U.S. Touring Car Championships (the 2004 was completed back at S&N Trackside in January), why not have something like a U.S. Road Course Championships for the pan cars? Run 1/12, Pro 10, Pan Touring with GTP bodies, etc...
