Chassis set up, clutch set up, tuning, and maybe even the driver! The fastest buggy down the back straight will not win races. It sure is fun though. Price is not necessarily a determining factor for me. Quality, reliability, availability of parts, and drivability. My first engine was a RB WS7 III. Last year I bought a Trinity and a OS V-Spec. I was not impressed with the quality or the customer support with the Trinity and I thought the OS was hard to drive. Maybe it did not suit my driving style. I finished last year with my original RB. I love the smooth linear power delivery. It could use a little more low end. I am very familiar with Novarossi but have never owned one. I know they are legendary when it come to quality, service life . I am not familiar with the product line and the personality of each model. I would love to hear any suggestion from you "Novarossi guys". Because I like the power delivery on the WS7 III and the reliability, right now I am considering a RB WS9. This is a "square stroke" engine which seem to be falling out of favor in new designs. The most challenging thing appears to be availability of Novarossi and RB. One of the reasons I am considering the RB is it is available right now. One minute they are available the next they are backordered everywhere.
