Well I finally get to post on mine after an Extreme Racing Mod.
I ran it all weekend at the Psycho Nitro Blast in Atlanta Ga. No bottom end???!!Not a truggy engine??!! WRONG!!!!
She had beautiful bottom end, I could clear any double/triple on the track with ease. This track had everyone bumping their gearing up one to two teeth on their CB's due to the massive straightaway and flowing layout. No need for me too, At 3/4's a gallon mark she did not stop pulling down the straightaway. The engine pulled hard but extremely smooth from bottom to top, no dead spots in the powerband. It's the perfect engine IMO. Very predictable, it always did the same thing when I squeezed the trigger.
I had her running about 210F on a JP-4, O.D. 97T plug and Sidewinder 30/10% blend. I run VP Pro Al. clutch with 1.0mm springs geared 13/48, all lightweight drivetrain. I had a pro buggy driver who runs Ninjas and O.S. Speeds comment on how hard my engine pulled down the straight....I believe that says a lot. Still getting 11-12 minutes runtime on 160cc's with a slightly fat tune. My Truggy weighed dead on 9lbs. no body and just about 1/4 tank in it. The engine had the power to run a 14 tooth CB no problem, I just chose not too. I'll be playing with the pipe Extreme Racing sent me as well soon. I did run it some on pavement. It made the bottom end even better. I need to play with the header lengths and gap to tune the pipe in. I'll post more on the pipe later. Thanks a million Robin, you nailed it. I can't wait until the sleeve relaxes enough to pull a head shim! Not sure if it needs it though!!
