This is what we've been told by the SMC rep, Bryan, that used to be on these forums. SMC recommends charging only when you're going to use them. At all other times they recommend storing them at 3.6v/cell (2S would be stored at 7.2v). This is different than most other lipos and you should be aware of how SMC recommends their lipos be treated.

There have been several who did not know how to treat them properly and they have had their packs swell up (puff).



What you're seeing is how much better lipo holds voltage under discharge than NiMh.
