I would say look at the 2wd Slash or Blitz because they can do both reasonably well.
Slash is a better basher
Blitz is a better racer
I think the 4wd slash is also very competitive but check with your local track to see if they race 4wd short course trucks.
it might now be raced, i am into crawling and scalers, so i would be getting this for fun, to race around town and show off
wheres a cheap place to get a 6 cell nimh battery pack at? i only have one for my scaler...
