Default Question about servo voltage

Finally got my 1/12th scale rocking with lipos and everything last night.

I decided to go with a 2s lipo pack for my receiver, to power my transponder receiver and servo. http://www.nexusracing.com/product_i...oducts_id=2975

Off the charger it's 8.4 volts. My receiver says it can handle 9.6 volts. ( Specktrum SR300 ), and I am pretty sure the AMB transponder can handle the volts.

I am concerned about my servo though.

It is a older JR Z3550 mini racing servo, and it specs at 6V. Last night I made about 6 runs on it, and it acted fine. The servo did'nt get hot, and it functioned very well. ( It was actually very VERY quick, took a second to get use to ).

So what are the chances of this servo lasting awhile? It is hot glued to the chassis right now, and i am unsure on how to replace it if it does die. Any tips on that would be great also.

Thanks
