Youre getting the dreaded 1/2 tank to empty fuel delivery problem all T-Maxxes are afflicted with due to a poor tank design where the output nipple is deficiently small making it inadequate in the proper flow dept...I found the problem to have gotten worse when I added fuel filters to some of the trucks then I did some detective work and solved the case for my trucks to make them 3-4 tankfuls in a row runtime without problems

To cure my problems in all 6 of my T-Maxxes I removed the gastanks and stretched open the tank output with a little heat,an awl and a small allen wrench...Youll see that the hole before it enters the tip the hose slips onto is even smaller than the tip hole and once its all stretched larger and all the same size throughout,- the flow will stay as strong and consistent throughout the whole truck useage with no lean out conditions that make it run hotter and hotter until it quits and then you have to wait til it cools to re-start it..

If you dont think the mod works take off the tank...fill it with water and sit it in the sink and time how long it takes to empty.Mine took a little under 3-3/4 mins...Then mod the tank and do the same test..The modded tank will empty in half the time or less guaranteed with a pretty consistent flow throughout the whole evacuation,-like all 6 of my tanks..Then dry it out, reinstall it,reset your carb needles back to stock let it warm, tune it and test it out...Youll love the way it runs providing youve got no other underlaying airleaks at the slider boot, needle o-rings,carb base, fuel banjo bolt or engine backplate..
