Hi Guys
I am looking to get a TC within the next couple weeks to begin racing by end of next month. I previously races a "Yokomo Worlds" shaft drive car that was loaded with all the options
Now I am again looking to Elwyn or another to guide me in deciding on a car. I know I will be running Li-po's and I want a chassis that will work without investing hundreds more in hop ups etc just so I do not experience fitament issues with the packs.
The BD5 does not seem well suited for Li-Po's unless you order the optional chassis and new top plate which adds $$$. I am already in Ca, USA so sourcing spares will not be the easiest...
Any suggestions? The local track owner says go X-Ray T3 and don't look back...am I doomed or can I show some Yokomo pride and be different without spending $800 on a car kit?
