Any tips on what cool looking bodyshell with good performance???
I race only bodies from the Super GT series here in Japan. That includes the NSX,Supra,Imprezza,RX7,350Z,R35,Porsche 911,and others.
All of the bodies have to be painted in true Super GT colors,so they all look great. Tamiya even makes them pre painted.
Performance wise the NSX and R35 are by far the best bodies. Most of the others have a very high roof lines and have more body roll. The Altezza generally has a high roof so it might have more body roll than you are used to. I know my Tamiya Altezza body is rather tall.
If you are allowed to use the NSX body where you race give it a try. The NSX body here in Japan isnt allowed in the lower level TCS races as its performance is that mouch better than the other bodies they offer. Both Tamiya and HPI make a NSX body so you should be able to source one.
Good luck
