I just finished reading this ENTIRE thread! Lots of great ideas here. I think I'm going to stick with this car for awhile ... at least until the Tamiya 415 hits shores here.
First time out and I really impressed some of the locals. Didn't touch my setup from the way it arrived from Jeff. This was my first time racing in almost 2 years, and I was doing 26 - 28 laps per heat! And I know it has room for improvement. Jeff, that P2k2 motor brushes were a bit burnt ... that's what I ran. Even still, it was impressive.
The car you are now running was mine originally. Jeff bought two from me a while ago but seems to have gone over to the dark side........nitro.
If you or your racing friends want more I still have one kit still NIB plus another that is built stock but has the front & rear graphite shock towers installed. It's brand new and never run, just built. I also have spares for almost everything.
