After reading manual on charge thru balancing, it looks like you have all you need and it does chargeand balance thru the balance wires. Thats what was throwing me - this balancer is a version of the Hyperion LBA10 balancer, but LBA10 has a place above where you plugin that harness that has two wires for you to install your choice of batt connector and obviously connects to both battery leads and balance wires.

This one has only the balance type connector and since the web page for TC says it will handle 6amps, looks like they expect the balance wires to take at least 5amps for charging. Sorry it took a while to get there, but to charge your lipo with this, you just connect the connector you bought to the balancer and the lipo, then connect the balancer to your charger. I don't see any other way for it to work.
