A 10t brushed motor would be pretty quick, I wouldnt see any problems using that in the mod class.

There are two types imo.

The more expensive ones will be fully rebuildable and the armature is likely to be hand wound. Brushes will be 99% of the time, soldered onto the endbell.

The cheaper ones will be 99% machine wound armatures, and might have eyelets on the brushes.

Maybe even a 19t checkpoint motor would be ok, with hard brushes if you can find one...
