So i am breaking down my engine. I was impatient at the moment with my wife yelling at me to go to the store. well i am trying to get the flywheel off and i am taping and taping the back of it (like i always do to get it off), and it wouldn't come off. Meanwhile my wife is nagging and nagging. So i said screw it and to out my 4oz ball ping hammer and started tapping on the end of my crank shaft.
It finally came off. So later i am putting it back together and the flywheel will not go on, and i couldn't figure out why. Well the tip of the crank mushroomed a itty bit. So i filed the end a little and it went back on. If the crank bent any i could not tell. It was smooth with the bearings and when i run it the clutch and spur are fine.
So basically from what i can tell everything is fine. But would like you guys input on this. Did i ruin my crank?
