well, I just switched to 323, and it appears the software is the issue as now I don't get the stutter / whirring on the motor at all on 2S or 1S on the LPF.

reconfirming the various software, I tried 110 and 107 again. I must have been in 110 the first time as in 107 on 2S no stuttering, on 1S, it seems to go to about half throttle, then kick over, then as it gets close to the top end, it starts to stutter on 1S.

I am going to go with 323 for now. Only guy running speed passion at the track and race is tomorrow.

anyone know what 731 is for?
