Very true, but one has to be a bit more careful running the MMP in 1/8th vehicles compared to the MMM. It would be great with a sensored Tekin motor in a light buggy, but I think for a heavier truggy or MT I'd trade in the sensored capability for the added "toughness" of the MMM. Even though the MMP can handle 6S according to Castle it's still a 1/10th controller.
