Mark : Yes it would handle better.
Now with a shaft drive, you can't have a centered motor, so a saddle pack would have an even worse mass balance.
The car is very light (the surikarn edition at least), so balancing your car to put it a the legal weight is the best solution.
The square servo stay, with the transponder mount integrated is a real help in balancing the chassis aswell.
