My LHS sells aerosol cans at $6 per can which cleans about one car, but has anyone used WD-40 which has a Kerosene-like carrier or spray mist denatured alcohol?

What's a cheap cleaner?

thanks in advance
First off you definately DO NOT want to spray your stuff down with WD-40. Not only can you kill your electronics but the WD-40 will weaken your plastic and eat away at it if you let it sit there. The safest solution is to blow off your car with compressed air as often as possible. If you need a little more then you go to Denatured Alcohol (can be purchased by the gallon at Home Depot for like 9 bucks) then spray with compressed air. The only danger there is to be aware of staying away from any bearings. Once the Denatured Alcohol gets near your bearings you could spray all that dirt right in to them. Pretty much most everyone uses the Denatured Alocohol. You can find it in the painting section!
