Yes but the difference is that the tekin with pre 203 software was still competitive. Depending on the track the SXX was marginally quicker. Now the sxx is just not competitive.

But any hardware can become out of date quickly. Tekin with their updateable firmware have started a new trend being copied by others. And note that the RS/R1 was not the first esc they produced with such functionality built into it.

It has also allowed them to make adjustments to their speedies. For example 1s lipo in 12th scale including 1s lipo cutoff.
Does the SXX actually have 1s lipo cut off?
