Default Tamiya 58431 F104 Pro with Hop-ups and Spares

Everything is Sold. I put this Tamiya F104 Pro (58431) together in anticipation of participating in the Trackside TCS race (April 10-11), but an important family function has come up and cannot attend, so it is for sale. The kit is built, but has never been run. Several Tamiya TCS legal hop-ups are installed:
  • F104 Soft T-Bar (54165)
  • F104 Titanium Coated King Pins (54160)
  • F104 Low Friction Suspension Ball Set (54161)
  • F104 Aluminum Motor Mount, Left and Right (54166)
  • F104 Aluminum Pivot Post (54169)
  • F104 Titanium Screw Set (84058)
The stock parts that the hop-ups replace are included. The picture shows a battery installed. This is not included. It was installed along with a few lead weights so the ride height would be at a realistic level for the pictures. To complete the car you will need a steering servo, electronic speed control, and radio system. The servo mounts for large servos are installed in the car. I had previously fitted my small steering servo with the mounts for small servos. I cut notches in the small mounts to provide clearance to the servo saver. If you intend to use the small mounts and the notches bother you, you will need to buy replacements (Tamiya F104 D Parts, 51380, available for approximately $7). The following spare parts (NIP) are included:
  • F104 F Parts, Front Suspension Arm Set (51381)
  • Carbon Reinforced Front Upright (54154)
  • 04 Module Spur Gear Set, 93T/104T (53900)
For the car with the installed hop-ups and listed spare parts: $195 shipped.

Also available for additional cost the following items:
  • F104 Rear Rubber Tires (51400), F104 Front Rubber Tires (51399), and F104 Mesh Wheel Set for Rubber Tires (51398). Two sets of each. These are all NIP except for one package of rear rubber tires and mesh wheels which were opened for inspection only. $40 shipped with car, $45 shipped alone.
  • F104 B compound rear foam tires (54168), F104 B compound front foam tires (54167), TRG rear wheels (TRG5081), TRG front wheels (TRG5079). Note the wheels are not Tamiya and thus would not be legal if you intended to enter a TCS race. Legal TCS wheels are readily available. $20 shipped with car, $25 shipped alone.
  • Yeah Racing Single Piece Aluminum Motor Mount (F104-013BK). I installed this once to check fit. As this is not a Tamiya part, it is not legal for TCS racing, so I removed it to install the Tamiya motor pod. I would definitely reinstall this after the TCS race if I was going to keep the car. $20 shipped with car, $25 shipped alone.
  • 3 Racing Aluminum Camber Mount (F104-02/LB). Plates are included for 0, 1, 2, and 3 degree camber. Allows quicker change in setting than stock setting and can be changed. I installed this once to check fit. The ball studs could use a little polishing to reduce size – they were a tight fit in the sockets. As this is not a Tamiya part, it is not legal for TCS racing, so I removed it to install the Tamiya parts. I would definitely reinstall this after the TCS race if I was going to keep the car. $10 shipped with car, $15 shipped alone.
I normally sell stuff on Ebay, but I thought RCTech would get a much larger audience. You can check my feedback (100% positive) as an Ebay seller by looking under the user name MAK581.
