You would be surprised if you actually knew what your talking about. Even though traction compound does not touch the foam directly, it does "absorb" through the tires or the "fumes" will soften and deteriorate open cell foams faster that normal. Next time you cut open tires that you have used traction compound on, smell the foam....eww

I don't know about Sticky Kicks personally, so I would go by what Raydog says.
