Guys, this is what I did... can you tell me if it works?-
I installed the centaxII clutch on my impact and to line up perfectly with the existing 2 speed. What I did was screw the 1st gear clutch gear on backwards. Initially the gear had a slight backspacing and overlaps part of the clutchbell, making the gears sit very close togather as metioned above. BUT what I did is turn the 1st gear around so there would be no back spacing and the gear screws all the way on backwards. I have yet to run the car with this set-up so im not entirely sure it will work...It looks like it definately should.
