This debate shall go on for ages
I agree with McPrez and even B4James
It is always going to be about personal preference, setup, gearing but more important cost.
Some people can afford to keep up, some cannot.
There is a big stat there $1200.00 for LRP over the same life cycle Tekin did.
Ultimately Tekin biz model said get 1 ESC, software upgradeable, which will allow Timing Boost and Turbo. Each software upgrade they worked out how to make that work in different forms.. Be it time delay on turbo etc etc
Personally my Tekin blew up in it first run.. That is not saying it is sh!t or bad it could have just setup I have to give them there customer service is first rate.
LRP keep it simple, there software is from the old world of thinking keeping it simple.. There is no software upgrades at the moment. However the feel is always the same want some more power or less the power. Few click here and there all done and you are back on the track going wow what great brakes.
Again this could be the speedy of the hour.. Until Speed Passion Gt2.1 comes along and slaps them both in the face who knows tracks all over the world shall find this out.
As for a comment of “On tracks like the Birds and also ETS tracks they are too small to allow the Tekin to stretch it's legs”
It seems strange to me the top drivers in the world cannot work out how to get most of a speedy they are given, maybe they can lend the setup from someone in Oz who said his 17.5 was as quick as a 10.5
