I believe what you were looking at was the DX2.0 for 129 and the DX3.0 for 169... Same Receivers. The 2.0 is 2 model memory, the 3.0 is 10.
Both will work the the bind in drive.
I actually have 2 Losi BnD receivers I use with my DX3S at the moment.
