OK, I don't want to hijack the thread, but I have to ask this since I haven't broken in many nitro motors.
What are the benefits of using a break-in stand such as what the OP is talking about (or the ready-made Hudy stand), versus runing the engine in the car on the starter box (old school method), versus the heat cycling method?
much easier , less mess , no grinding on your starter box to get mtr running ...easier easier easier ...get about 500cc on a mtr on a bench and you will never strap a new mtr in a car again inmho
