have you checked the alignment angle from Bell to Spur? If its not 90 deg you will kill bearings .. Also do you oil the bearings regularly ? a little spray on the bearing every 20 mins should reduce any wear in the clutch bearing

i have been running avid rubber sealed bearings a while now ($12 for 10), they will last a gallon a set if you put a drop of 3in1 every time you service clutch shoes. i don't check my alignment too much, just so the spur isn't too far forward or back on the bell, i try to get it dead center.
