The only booster I have not had a problem with is the RC Dynamics booster. Just as reliable as a RX pack and easier to use. I actually bought a couple of LiFe RX packs at the same time as a backup but I've never used them.

I had not seen that booster, but looks and sounds good. The two different ones that I tried, got too hot for my liking in the car, so I'm good with the LiFe 220ma receiver pack. Size is about the same as a transponder but maybe twice the height.
