Mine fits fine no problem. I use the carbon fiber battery strap and just ground the bottom of the rear shock tower so it slips under it easier. Never heard about the Reedy 5000 pack not fitting before. It won't slide under the rear shock tower like a NIMH pack will so I just run half a foam behind it.
