Why is anyone surprised?
Mario Rossi designed the GRP mfg./BOSS/Falcon/Mugen-Ninja 1st gen engines.
These look exactly the same (99.9%) on the outside.
Of what you can see of the sleeve, port config looks just like the old 7 port onroad.
Crankcase casting is near-same. Carb body too (duh).
Except this time he made the crankshaft he wanted instead of a cheaper, more economical unit (ala GRP/Losi).
They'll be good stuff
