I went to local meeting where I guy had rigged up 2 minature cameras with transmitters, with 2 seperate monitors complete with the receivers plugged into VCRs. During the day, both the cameras were used during the actual races on numerous cars - it was hilarious!!
The racing was far more entertaining watching it from the on-board cameras - you really felt the speed. If you were small enough to clim aboard I'm pretty sure the G would be awesome!
The thing is, it turned into an expensive game of tag - who could get the most spectacular crash caught on video - priceless!! By the end of it, everyone was dizzy and the cameras couldn't cope with the shock loadings BUT the video caught some impressive take outs
Stuff like this attracts spectators - it's what the sport needs.
