If you compare the price difference in the two part for part, it costs less to build a B and the kit than it does to buy the RC8E and upgrade to the B parts (shocks, towers, etc) so they aren't really making that much extra on the B kit anyway..

Honestly though, the way to go is the RC8B and the conversion. While you're at it.. order the Elite motor mount and save yourself the grief there too
