my bro used to work for a carbon fiber frabrlication shop..making state of the are carbon forks for road and mtd. bikes...he says the top weave is mainly cosmetic...all the regidity is in the middle layers and how they are layed out...
I've asked if they can do a tub chassis...they said yes...but pricey.
anybody interested in a 'cuda tub chassis...
