I'm glad 10.5 isn't so reliant on speedos

A tenth or two ? hardly. At the time you all jumped ship to gain the advantage which was worth more than 0.1 seconds and even more on larger tracks. Now you have been caught out by another faster system. Soon LRP will release their new system and it continues.Drivers were happy when their SPX was faster. Now not happy because a different brand is faster.
Maybe if companies like LRP would release updated software for free then there would be no issue.
Anti-Tekin ? Nah. I am not thinking that. I am anti the companies that just bleed us . Tekin has not done that to date. Look at the example of Team Wave. Promised upgradability but when they had an upgrade they issued a new ESC and said sorry cant upgrade. All I said was that Tekin at least was upgradeable and you could still be using an ESC that you bought 2 years ago
Technology will not go away. Is more about how it is presented to us. LRP prefer to sell us a new ESC. Tekin offer free upgrades. That is why Tekins are selling very quickly in the USA
BTW ... just had a look at the results from Summer Nats ... the Tekin was about 0.1 -0.2 secs a lap faster on fastest individual lap than guys not driving Tekins in the majority of cases
