The best thing to do would be to have both bodies and just test with each before you race. Some tracks will be quicker with different bodies. I also read a post from Jilles saying the LTC-R is not suitable for very hot conditions where tyre heat is an issue
I could definitely see that as being a problem with the LTC-R. Lately I've been doing a lot of indoor running, but I'm sure the tires would have overheating issues with it outdoors in the summer especially.
